I'm fairly certain that the video tape of you being killed should be released on the internet.

[/ QUOTE ]
i always wondered why this was a big deal to people or their familys. i wouldn't care if the video of me being killed was on the internet, and don't know why other people would care.

[/ QUOTE ]

It's not something you can defend logically, but I can certainly understand the idea of not wanting the grisly death of a loved one to become what is basically entertainment.

[/ QUOTE ]
yea i guess its more a psychology thing, but i just don't think that many people will actually be "entertained". people are just interetested to see it for themselves instead of hearing about it. i guess if its something really embarassing like it seems to be (him being horny and drunk with the stringray), thats something else too.

It because loved ones don't want to see and hear about the youtube video of their father/mother/brother etc being killed.

Its called common decency...some people have it-like the documentary filmmakers who turned their cameras away from from the people who had been soaked with jetfuel and were burning alive just inside the lobby of WTC1-and some people don't.

More and more in todays society it seems like there is a growing lack of it.

But morons like you still wanna know or see what it looks like so its confusing to you why people have a problem with it...cuz I mean gosh--if u were raped and murdred...you'd have no problem with the video of your death being on the internet...so everyone should just get with the program and put this kind of [censored] on youtube.

Sure why not...and while we're at we should release all the tapes from killers and rapists...hey child molesters too...we wouldn't Borodog to miss out on anything.

[/ QUOTE ]

Thanks for the insinuation. Because watching a person get stung by a stingray is exactly analogous to watching rapists and child molestors at work.

[ QUOTE ]

Lets release it so his daughter, and I'm sure she'll find out that the only reason he was filming stingrays is so the footage could be used for her tv show, can watch her father die.

[/ QUOTE ]

Uh . . . what?

[ QUOTE ]
As someone who's seen a person get speared..albeit thru the leg... with a stingray barb...your wont see anything. It moves incredibly quick and then is gone...there is hardly any blood or anything. So basically the only reason you'd want to watch it is to get to see a person die--which isn't my cup of tea but I'm sure it is for a large # of the losers who frequent OOT.

[/ QUOTE ]

Human beings are fascinated by death. You've never watched the Zapruder film? You clicked away every time CNN showed Dale Earnhardt's car hit the wall?

The fact that there's no blood or gore makes me more inclined to watch, not less. If he'd been torn apart by a shark, I'd be much less interested in seeing it. I'm curious. How big was the ray? How fast was the strike? Did he see it coming? What must he have been thinking in the immediate aftermath? If you don't wonder these things or things like them, you seem pretty inhuman to me.

For the record, I'm sure there are plenty of gorey videos of people getting killed on the internet, and I have no desire to watch them. But I would watch this one. If that makes me a sick [censored], so be it.

Sure. Go with that. I said it would be "cool." Right.

I'll ask you the same question. You click away everytime a documentary shows the Zapruder film?

I'm usualy not into watching people die, but for some reason I do want to see this. I think I want to see his reaction to getting stung more then anything.

its been ages but i vaguely remember seeing it in JFK...but yes I tend to avoid the voyerstic versions of 9/11 coverage etc.

I avoided nick berg getting his head chopped off etc.
If im watching a nature show and all of a sudden someone gets attacked that one thing.

But if they say hey...we have a video coming up where u get to watch somebody gets stabbed in the heart and we focus on them as they are dying...stay tuned!

I change the channel.
I don't get off on that kind of [censored]....you obviously do.

you went to the trouble of making a post about wanting to watch the video of Steve Irwin dying..so you obviously think it would be really interesting and cool to watch.

Go watch the Nick Berg video instead cuz, hate to burst your bubble, I dont ever see this getting released...you know...cuz he like has to kids under the age of 10 and stuff--yeah i know...just tell em to change the channel right?

Didn't this subject come up with him before? I thought he'd always said he wants it to be shown.

I also remember reading this somewhere.
