No one has put 2 and 2 together (um, so to speak):

1. Go to Casino Royale, buy a $1 Michelob for each fist.

2. Walk next door to Carnival Court, drink beers while sarging the talent.

3. Repeat as necessary.

4. Profit.

piano bars like that can be decent pick-up places too.

I'm thinking of the more semi-raucous 2 guys on dueling-pianos playing sing-along tunes which is what I believe the one at NYNY is.

The mellow, low-light old-guy on a piano type lounge has its place too but not as a prime pick-up spot.

Voodoo Lounge at $30 cover isn't really my idea of LV on a budget.

Hitting Harrah's with the band and decent sized crowd with NO cover is the way to go even with pretty pricey drinks.

Also, LOL at ANYONE who thinks you can't pick-up a hot girl anywhere but Pure or Jet or wherever.
Obviously these clubs will have hot-girls too but it's freaking LV. There actually are other places to go and hang-out besides the clubs. This would apply for you and your budget-concious group as well as any group of girls from out of town.

Casino Royale is a dump, unless you like supermega -ev pit games like Blackjack Switch.

Ahh, but the $1 Michelobs are ice cold. Definitely a good starting point (plus the ATM fees here are only $1 for up to $1K withdrawal).

-EV!? You kidding me? The house edge is so tinny if you play using basic strategy. Harrah's use to have it and ditched it because they didn't make money off of it. The good thing for Casino Royale is that most ppl who play there have no clue. I'm up several grand this year from BJ switch. If the dealer doesn't push for awhile you make mad cash.

If you just want to meet a girl for the night, then just walk around the strip and hotel lobbies from 2 til 4am when all the girls leave the clubs and stumble back to their rooms. I've also meet some hot peeps just because my friends were drunk and started yelling at a group. Whatever works. It's Vegas, its like fishing in a [censored] barrel for god sakes. You could easily meet a bunch of ppl at the hotel pool as well. If you're already staying at the pool, then you're good to go.

The Mirage Sportsbook offer free drinks for SITTING in the sportsbook. (Venetian use to do this but dropped it) You can easily sit and watch sports and be feed booze all day for a buck a pop. Granted, it won't fly in the middle of the night.

You brought it up with an outlandish statement. It's not my fault 2 hands is too much for you to keep track of and play properly

Must have been all the $1 Michelobs! Judging by the replies here, I should give it another shot next time in LV. I have never seen switch in AC (should have been my first clue that it wasn't a huge house moneymaker).

Also at the Carnaval Court, if you're sitting at the bar, it's not unusual to have the bartenders pouring free shots. You might also see some hos flashing their breastesses Mardi Gras style.

Harahs Carnaval court, I was there w 2 buddies, these smoking hotties just pulled my friend in and kissed him. Now he has a recurring cold sore issue but man what a wild atmosphere.

Many packs of ladies go there.

Casino royalle gets alot of mixed ladies too, strange.

Imperial palace had somthing for awhile to but I haven't gone there in over a year.

If you are trying to score its easier to be staying in harra or IP. Many ladies sober up if your trying to get em in a cab and take em to the Plaza:-D.

Have fun.

I have my bachelor party coming up in a few weeks and am in a similar situation with some thrifty friends. Thanks for the advice so far. We're staying at Harrah's, and we'll definitely hit up the bar there.

Sorry for the hijack...but could any of y'all throw out a couple restaurant recommendations using the same guidelines? We're looking for something in the $30 - $40pp price range.

Thanks,
Andrew
