I think your range is too tight for this stage of this particular tournament. People raise in EP with an aweful lot of hands early on, so I think I beat a lot of his semi-bluffing range.

I'm also not so sure a big pair would risk check raising this flop. As I had been passive pre-flop there's no reason for him to think that I'd raise. He really wouldnt want to check behind and see a club or a J, Q, or K.

All in all though I think you are probably right about folding, as I have nothing and reads are all very well but sometimes you are just going to see crazy play with hands that you wouldn't expect.

Although it is pretty marginal, I think the danger of him having AK is important, I think if I had the AK it would be a call.

So shall I post results or is it too early still?

Anyways, I called, he showed JQ with no clubs and caught a king on the turn for the straight.

Nice call, I posted one like this on here a while ago. Tough to get the 2+2 crowd behind an ace high call. without the guy having 60/58/17 stats.
