I was deep in a MTT last night - had 200k - Villain had 375k
he kept pushing - raising pre-flop every hand ..

the flop came

I had A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]( top pair top kicker )

Villain raised - I called - he re-raised ...man, then I found my self all -in .....I couldn't help my self,don't know what came over me ( wanted to teach him a lesson?)
Villain had pockets 8s ... [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]
I was Busto!

What are the blinds? What position are you in? How did he raise after you made the call?

My initial assessment: fold preflop

It's not being a snob to point out glaring problems with your post. You say someone re-raised after you called. Were other people in the hand? Was there a raise preflop? What were the blinds? Where were you? Where was he?

These are important questions and concerns that must be given if you want an accurate analysis. If you'd like my opinion in a vacuum, I'd say if you approach your poker game with the same amount of patience and discipline as you used to make this post, then you've identified "WTF is wrong" with you. Hasty, emotional, unclear posts followed by insults to the community aren't the best way to glean information from the minds that frequent these boards.
