Jeeze, can't say I blame him. To work for something and then, as he said, have it taken away in such an underhanded mannor...

Unfortunetly this is how a lot of bills are passed in our country. I remember in one of the Michael Moore propagandafests some senator or congressman said that they don't read 80% of the bills they pass.

Sad how they take for granted the power that the people have given them.


And I'll be the first to say I am not knowledgeable about this subject at all, nor am I very politically active, although I do have a candidate I'm hoping will take office :P

I see this more as Doyle using a very high profile event to push his agenda, and thats just a cover. Not that i'm complaining about it.

This was also my impression. He's not playing because he lost his passion, but yet he shows up to watch?

I think he didn't enter for whatever reason, but took the good opportunity to speak out on the issue. I just wish he had been more articulate.
