Default 6-Max STT sng stategy

How does strategy for these differ from strategy for full table stt sngs?

Any advice on strategy for these?

i wish i was motivated to answer this post in more detail

basically, slightly looser and at varying degrees of increasing aggression. ICM still applies, the bubble plays with different stacks and slightly deeper than a 9 man bubble, so take that into account. variance can suck just like with 9 mans, often worse.

I'm sure there's a post somewhere devoted to this.

As I'm sure you realize, with 1/3 fewer players, every hand goes up in value. Since the blinds come around faster, it's imperative to raise more pots and steal more blinds. I still avoid big confrontations early, but I raise quite a few pots.

Get to know ICM.
