Re: Phone # vs email addy
Why not ask for her email address, and as she's writing down her email address, tell her to write down her phone number. Or something like that. Do people even write down numbers anymore?

[ QUOTE ] I prefer email. You can weed out the really crazies via facebook/msn etc. You'll also get far fewer fake emails than fake phone numbers. [/ QUOTE ] i don't think i've ever asked for a girl's email in my entire life. seems like a really good way of getting her to think you're nerdy. also, if a girl might give me a fake number, but if i ask for email she might give me her real one because she doesn't make one up on the spot, then i probably don't want to see her again anyways. a girl who doesn't want to meet me enough to give her real phone number probably isn't worth pursuing anyways. [/ QUOTE ] When I say email I mean email/msn. They are the same thing. For the record I'm not talking about walking up to a random and asking for her email(that would be nerdy as [censored] your right) but if I've been chilling or dancing with a girl for a while that night I'll normally get them to add me to their msn rather than deal with phone bs. Also I'm just talking about random hook ups. I don't really date girls so I don't really give a [censored] if their worth pursuing as long as their hot. |

Re: Phone # vs email addy
I usually try to make it more exciting by getting some anecdotal information such as the girls' mother's maiden name, the name and birthplace of her grandfather on her dad's side, or three of the last four digits of her SSN. This way I have to do some cyber stalking before I can bother her again, which makes the pursuit so much more worthwhile. Then we have ice cream.

[/ QUOTE ] last time i wrote down a number was literally years ago...it's so much easier to just flip open the phone and put the number in...nor do i usually have a pen with me at a bar... |
