From what I read it was a typo and was supposed to be for bill 1343 (Vehicle Registration bill) instead of the bill 1243 (Washington Gambling bill).

Anyone have any idea what the effect of HR 2046 would have on Washingtonians? The bill looks like it would require a license of all gaming sites that would preclude them from offering access to jurisdictions that restrict Internet gambling.

Sounds to me like us Washingtonians could be sitting on the sidelines during the next big poker boom. Any lawyers out there that can weigh in?

Indeed, the vote totals now showing for 1343 match the vote totals that 1243 was alleged to have.

You are correct. As it stands, even if HR 2046 is passed Washington will be excluded unless it changes its law.
