Its completely unbearable here, over an hour to hour and a half wait to play in a simple one table satellite. LOL at live poker, no wonder I didnt play for 2 years.

Guys, can anyone report on the procedure for those of us that were able to preregister? Is it any better than what I'm reading here?

It's absolutely brutal. Stage 2 of trying to enter a satellite was impossible. Line for entering any tournament is longer than before, I think at least 2 hours maybe more. Worst thing I've ever seen so far.

It Pays To Plan Ahead

If you're thinking of playing in a World Series event at some point over the next seven weeks, you would do well to register as early as possible. Outside the Amazon Room the line to register for tomorrow's events is four-wide funneling into the Registration Room, and it winds around the corner and down, down, down the hallway.

A bit earlier there was a brouhaha as some people were shifted around and those who had been waiting in line for a long time felt that the interlopers were jumping their place in line. But calm, at least relatively speaking, has been restored. There's still a lot of people out there who want to pony up and play tomorrow, and if you're going to be in that position in the very near future, register as soon as possible. And remember, patience is a virtue.

================================================== ========

Glad I'm too busto to be robusto and pissedoffsto. Well, maybe not glad but, well you know.

Would I have to stand in this line if I preregistered online and wired the money already?

I've also heard of people who did preregister and they had no record of it :/

I won't be in Vegas until late tonight.

I was playing with someone who said he pre-registered for Saturday's $1,500 tournament. He said he needed to eventually get in line and check-in (or whatever Harrah's is requiring).

i think the supersystem here is to go in and register late at night like 9 PM or so after the 2 main events and nightly 2nd chance are through their late registration period

Confirmed that the line has been consistently at 3.5 hours most of the day today. One guy playing in the $5k event told his buddy, "Maybe I should pay someone to stand in line for me." On that note, PM me with best offer to stand in line after 11PM tonight...
