Ciders
I just finished off some Woodchuck Pear Cider, and it was awesome. As a general rule, I hate beer, but ciders are great. I like the Woodchuck Pear, and Ace Pear on draft is fantastic. What else out there is worthwhile?

Re: Ciders
Woodchuck's other stuff is ok as well, but I'm partial to Strongbow, from the St. James' Gate guys. Not sure if the quality is honestly better, since I rarely drink cider.

Re: Ciders
Look for Peter Harris's posts in this forum. He had some great stuff on cider.

Thatchers' Cider trip report
UK only though Thatcher's Perry is made entirely from the Conference Pear, which gives it its clear flavour profile. Perry is the weakest of ciders though, i think sales of perry have always been ~1 perry for 20 apple ciders. I am from cider country, so i suppose i'm going to bang on about Thatchers |

Re: Ciders
About a million years ago when I was in college, I had Bardenheimer's Hard Apple Cider. Gawd that was the worst ever. Someone told me the day after (while my head still felt like it was in a vice) that it had formaldehyde in it.

Re: Ciders
Both the apple and pear cider from Spire are quite tasty.
