Sorry, got Bright mixed up with Alaeze. I think Zook is taking the right steps with these kids after they're on campus but some recruits could still be seen as "borderline". Admittedly, I have no clue how the program was run in the 80's though. I'm glad to see Illinois having some serious success.

I don't think that will last. ND will take awhile to win again and we'll probably [censored] all over ourselves against Purdue...I'm sure we will in Champaign. All I ask for is competence...why is that so hard?

First off im a die hard mich fan since the days of Bo. since i couldnt watch mich today (damn big ten network) I decided to watch Ill-Wis game. And i was like DAMN, this Illinois team is filled with straight up atheletes. They are big, strong and fast. For a minute I thought I was watching Flordia play (uniforms looks similar, lol. And most surprising to me was how well coached they were for such a young team. This game should not have even been this close, don't forget the Wisconsin kick returner clearly fumbled the ball on their final possession. If they can play with the poise they did today they will be very hard to beat. Im not sure how their schedule is but I look forward to watching them play OSU and Mich. I'll say it now, were in deep trouble when we play Illinois, can you say spread offense boys and girls [img]/images/graemlins/ooo.gif[/img]
