TY. It was my first shot at NL50 today and I ran through 5 buy-ins in the first like 2 hours. Was so sick.

Then I had just the sickest heater ever, including this hand:

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

saw flop|<font color="#C00000">saw showdown</font>

<font color="#C00000">CO ($84.15)</font>
Button ($35.85)
SB ($48)
BB ($46.15)
UTG ($50)
<font color="#C00000">Hero ($126.55)</font>

Preflop: Hero is MP with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $2</font>, CO calls $2, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, BB calls $1.50.

Flop: ($6.25) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
BB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $4</font>, <font color="#CC3333">CO raises to $12</font>, BB folds, Hero calls $8.

Turn: ($30.25) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">CO bets $20</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $50</font>, <font color="#CC3333">CO raises to $70.15</font>, Hero calls $20.15.

River: ($170.55) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>

Final Pot: $170.55

Results in white below: <font color="#FFFFFF">
Hero has Ad As (three of a kind, aces).
CO has 4s 4d (three of a kind, fours).
Outcome: Hero wins $170.55. </font>

Obviously I'm just on the good end of a cooler here, but, still, feels nice after such a bad run.

Now up about $10 after $3 hours - but I'm not stuck!

Raise more preflop if you're going to raise. 8.25 would be pot size and since we're OOP it's no harm to throw in an extra BB, I make it 9.

It's barely more then a min raise for villain to call and he can call with excellent implied odds and position.

Postflop is fine, I usually make my cbet 75% of pot but because this is a 3bet pot we can make it a little less then that here.

Yeah, I think I do need to bump up my pre-flop raises a little bit. I have been playing 5CD for like a month and a half and you never need to raise a ton pre-draw since equity edges are so large (it's usually a mistake to call with a worse hand, e.g.), so I'm getting adjusted back to holdem.

TY for the input
