Various theories. One is that its based on typos, just like "!!!!!!!!!!!111!!one!!" is making fun of people who miss the shift key when typing exclamation points, ZOMG is making fun of people who miss the shift key and hit the z instead when typing OMG.

That and it just sounds better. ZOMG!!!!!

Just out of curiousity, ever since I've started reading 2+2 I know actually say ZOH MY GOD when ever I usually said oh my god, I actually pernounce the zoh. anyone else do this.
