They have these electronic pest control things that you just plug into a socket and it emits an inaudible high pitched noise that freaks out most rodents and some insects.

wow...little spiders freak the [censored] outta me. If I saw that thing, I would instantly lose 5 years off my life. OP, did you figure out what it was yet? BTW, I don't really believe that picture - at least not the 2nd one. Not even camel spiders get that big. Still nice work though.

my parents sold their house due to squirrels getting into the roof. they had repairs/exterminators in three times and the squirrels always got back in.
