Default Q2s defence

CO raises, I call from BB with Q2s

Flop 882r
Hero cr, CO calls

Turn 8
Hero bet, CO raises

Against what type of player do I fold? Call down?
I rarely (almost never) cr bluff a flop like this. Should I?

What do you mean you call from the button?

Is this HU where big blind has the button?

EDIT : ugh, it can't be HU, because you said CO opens...

Why would you cold call with this hand?

Okay, I'm gonna assume you're 3handed and you actually called from the big blind.

I would call the turn raise against most everyone in the aggro games I play in... only folding to the passive/predictable types. So if they are the type to raise A high here for free SD, call.

Depending on the river, you can usually check/fold as most guys won't bet a worse hand. If you are up against a guy that's capable of this, very high aggression factor say, then it's a call. If an A comes on the river and a TAG bets, I think you can safely fold, as his free SD raise just gave him 88's full.

Yes, you should be CR'ing flop like this with pure air - I find this a very solid strategy against most TAGs, as they can't continue past the turn without pairing up. Just make sure you're also CR'ing this flop with trips, too, for balancing - and small pocket pairs, like you probably usually do.

you don't have reads?
anyway folding this turn seems pretty bad. at least call the turn...

he prolly wont bet A hi on the riv, so riv is divided between a pocket pair valuebet, and a bluff of Q hi and lower probably

I cannot explain to you in words how much I hate this spot but we gotta atleast call the turn against 95% of the online poker population becuz so many people love to freeshowdown with Ax in this spot. Once the villain bets the river all your options will suck so it doesnt matter to me what you do at this point.

Wow you play with some tight/passive mofos.

In my games this is closer to a 3-bet than a fold.

I dont play with alot of tight/passive people, but I do play with alot of passive players. I still think that once the typical villain bets the river our hand is in really bad shape. Do we have a profitable call on the river? Well that depends who the villain is.

Right...
I seriously doubt that a 3bet is the correct play against all but very few opponents.

Against ME it rocks though because I would often raise for free sd any pair and any A and fold to a 3bet. I would almost never bet the river as a bluff getting called on the turn either.
I'm quite exploitable sometimes, I hope "sometimes" does not occur too often.

Being exploitable all the time is fine as long as youre playing against opponents who wont exploit you.
