I think this forum has a problem with being weak-tight

In this thread, everyone says "weak turn lead = draw, shove"
http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showfl...ue#Post12692109

but in this thread, someone weak leads the turn, I shove, and everyone says "ZOMG he has a monster wtf are you doing"
http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showfl...;gonew=1#UNREAD

uNL, are you seeing monsters under the bed?

And I would kindly ask you to stop bashing innocent uNL'ers (except when it comes to their horrid tilt issues and epenis waving)

Its not a matter of bashing unlers. I play the lowest stakes on full tilt. But this is a big problem, and the sooner people recognize it the quicker their games will get better

look at the two hands again and you'll see a distinction between them

I actually think theyre incredibly similar. I have a medium strength hand on a disgustingly draw heavy board, and villain bets a similar amount into a similarly sized pot. stacks are different, but thats irrelevant imo since the idea is learning to hand read.

Im not saying that I am an expert at poker. FFS i play 10 nl. But it was really surprising to me how the hands got such dissimilar responses

you basically have an overpair in hand 1 (cause its hard to put him on a Q unless he turned 2 pair), and you have TPWK on hand 2.

saw it on a CR vid, and im trying to implement it, but your hand strength should be based not on its strength on its own, but on its strength against your opponents range
