Default Confused? UGIEA the reason for fewer high-stakes games?

I am a little lost with this UGIEA thing going on. I understand that it will be illegal for banks to process transactions that are online gambling related. So should I be scared that my money online will not be able to be cashed out? When will something likely happen?

Also there used to be tons of full $25/50 NL games, now there are just a handful. Is this because lots of online players have withdrawn their money and stopped playing online?

I know this might have been discussed before but I didn't find any thing in my search online.

Thanks,
Paul

Obviously it has impacted things. So has the Neteller debacle. Why would people leave large sums on these sites in the wake of both of those?

pretty sure only applies to transactions from the banks to online, eg, withdrawing money from poker sites is no problem.
