Christians hate music
from godhatesgoths.com:
[ QUOTE ] HERE IS A SHORT LIST OF ANTI-CHRISTIAN MUSIC THAT SHOULD BE AVOIDED LIKE THE PLAGUE TO ALL WHO WISH TO BE IN GOD'S FAVOUR. People have been asking us what albums are 'safe' to listen to. Obviously we feel it's not who you should be listening to, it's who you should be protesting against that counts. Burning records and smashing up CDs of the most sick and anti-Christian artist. As a good guidline, if you are unsure in any way ask yourself this. Does the band / music you wish to listen to include any of the following themes - Rebellion Violence Nihilism (belief in nothing) Escapism Drugs / Alcoholism Sexual Perversion, Self-Mutilation Dissonant / Offensive Sound The Occult Anti-God / Anti-Authority Cult-like Organization, Terrorism If so, you should steer well clear. As the Bible teaches us anything that promotes or embraces any of these factors is prodominantly anti-Christian, and against all that God stands for. Re: Christians hate music
Not all Christians hate music. This guy's just a nut and certainly doesn't speak for me or any other Christians I know.

Re: Christians hate music
I'm a Christian. But why is choking on one's vomit considered a strike (Jimi Hendrix)? These people are idiotically misguided.

Re: Christians hate music
Choking on one's own vomit is only a mistake. Choking on someone else's is definitely satanic.

I don't know why I found this objection so funny, but I did! OP, I'm not christian, but I would guess that most christians would think the author of this was a little out there too. |

Re: Christians hate music
Well, most of the bands listed there are overtly anti-Christian, with a handful of mainstream bands mixed in. But it's hard to think of a band that doesn't include any of those themes, unless they are children's music or specifically targeted to Christians. BTW: What Queen song(s) use backmasking? |
