FWIW too fresh is also bad as it a) carries too much waterweight. and b) isnt dry enough to burn.

This only really happens if you were buying homegrown that was just harvested though.

If you really want to learn about pot fast take a trip to amsterdamn. Everything you need to know will be taught to you in a weekend visiting hash bars. Besides that buy it, smoke it, repeat. After a year of variance in product you should be able to recognize green from ditchweed. For what it's worth if it cost more than $30.00 an eighth it better be good bud . If you like what your buddies have why don't you just have them hook you up?
