Well I ain't that sure that this fellow has AA, KK, AK; Limp-smoothcalling isn't the way most people play these cards. Calling with AJ after a raise OOP would also be pretty loose. What are his stats? Is he so passive preflop that he could have JJ? He might just know that this board scares you (your preflopraise looks more like a sweetener to me, or do you raise always that 'weak'?) too and be betting with a pocketpair lower then jacks or something like KQs, maybe just an suited ace. I wouldn't give up yet and just call to see what he does on the turn.

I don't play 50NL, but I'd raise more preflop, to like $2.5.
