One thing to consider is that really no hand makes sense other than boats. No way he's value-shoving a dry 6. Possibilities seem to be 55, 65, maybe 64. 65 seems to make sense more than anythign else.

Keep in mind that shoving with 55 is pretty much equivalent to shoving with A6. In either case, he's hoping to get paid by a naked 6, since every 6x that's boated beats him.

Since you're in the blind and based on your play, your range is basically 6x here. If he thinks you'll call with any, or even most, 6x hands (not a horrible assumption at NL100), shoving A6 isn't bad here. He has no reason to believe you've boated up or that you'll only call with boats. He's shoving for value against your range with either 55 or A6 here.

I disagree that hero's range is this narrow. 6x is definately in his range, but so is an PP up to 77, a busted draw, a made draw (straight just got there), even a bare 5 could bet flop, c/c turn, lead river. I really think hero's line looks more like 78 than anything.
