Default Weird line by opp in 5cd Limit

Hey all,
I've been trying to expand my poker brain lately so recently I've been playing .5/1 5cd limit on stars, and I've seen people do things like draw one to what I'm assuming was QQQ6. Is this a standard line, trying to represent two pair? Or are they just thinking this is a good line, etc...

always draw 1 to two pairs and 2 to trips so your opp know where you are at.

More seriously drawing 1 to QQQ6 is UBER UBER UBER standard.

Yep. Standard 100%

Reason being is you want 2 pair hands to call your trips,
and there are lots more possible 2 pair hands then trip hands, and you beat them all.

Particularly sweet if you have trip Aces.

Like youself i've been mucking around with 5CD. I think it has helped my appreciation and understanding of value betting, position and opening range analysis.

I most play NLH SNG's.
