3/6 Why do I get the urge to do these things?
UTG is a donk, button is TAG regular on the nitty side of things, and pretty ABC. He's definately raising a big hand on this flop vs the donk. I'm getting good odds to draw here, but I felt this was a good time to steal this one. Yay or nay?

Re: 3/6 Why do I get the urge to do these things?
I can imagine a set only calling on the flop or of course a hand like Jxh. Neither hand will fold especially if its a J with a high kicker.
What most likely will happen with your reraise is, that you run into a push of a slowplayed hand from the flop or a call from BTN and you OOP. |

Flop seems much better to c/r no?
Also, I fold preflop. Q9o is a ridiculous hand oop. |

[/ QUOTE ] He can have only one set here and I could only see him flatting a set if the donk made a reasonable bet, but he bet $12 into $39, which pretty much discounts that entirely. Do you honestly think a nittyish reg is calling this raise with just a jack? I'm more worried about UTG donk here honestly. I am just curious as to whether or not people think I make them both fold enough times here for this to be +ev. |

i personally dont, but im a nit i guess. im more worried about donkey too. Tag might talk himself into calling given the drawy board.

Re: 3/6 Why do I get the urge to do these things?
nitty meaning bad?
the thing is if i got here with just the donk (i'd usually just raise flop, depending on how bad he is) then i wouldnt be raising that turn. |
