both 50's are very soft, but im specifically talking about the $55 6max on stars. It only gets around 150 players but man its SO soft. I reckon you'd be able to have a sick roi playing that tourny

Got around $450 online and currently playing 25NL

I'd be cashing that $450 out immediately, getting myself back on track IRL, then cashing back in again. You cant play poker with that much at stake, you're gonna be in a really crappy place mentally. Get out of trouble, THEN start playing again.

Again, I get paid 3.7k on January 3rd and I'm going home for Christmas break so it's just a matter of one or two weeks and then I'm home free.

You will be fine. I never paid my bills in college till like three days before disconnect and my credit is still good. Just make sure they don't cut you off or report you and always make sure they get their money 3-5 days before disconnect/credit report. Most places will not report to credit bureau even when they cut you off. You still have like a week to settle with them. As for the rent, I always paid it on time cause the late fee was killer but the utility company and cable company always get paid at the dead last minute.

What kind of BR do you need to be playing $55 buy-in tourneys? Seems like you'd need a BR equivalent to playing 100NL.

Yeah that seems about right. I think people say the standard is 100 buyins, but I'm a total bankroll nit

its 100 times your average buyin which allows shots at higher limits. But im with you bazooka, the variance is sick and can really screw with your head

wow, you ARE BR nits. I'm more than happy with 50 and I take shots at 30. But then again, I can move up/down a lot too and I don't have problems with that.

edit: tourneys are higher V, so meh. I still think 100 is a little high.
