Re: 2 Hands-What would you do?
Stack sizes of the blinds would be helpful, but I fold both of these.

Re: 2 Hands-What would you do?
Questions for hand #1....
1. How many people left and how many of those get paid? 2. What is your read on the blinds (tight or loose)? 3. How many players are seated at the table? Hand 2 ... 1. How many chips does the "4 seat" have? 2. What is your read on Mr. 4 seat? I would need this information in order to come up with the best solution. |

Questions for hand #1.... 1. How many people left and how many of those get paid?(About 35, 18 get paid, however I have no interest in cashing, its a $4/180 so I want to get in the top 3) 2. What is your read on the blinds (tight or loose)?(They are your average $4/180 donkeys) 3. How many players are seated at the table? (8) Hand 2 ... 1. How many chips does the "4 seat" have? Re: 2 Hands-What would you do?
Thank you for the responses. I have a question. According to HOH Vol 2 in hand #1 I have an M of about 9 correct? And in Hand 2 its more like 8, is that correct?
Assuming that I am correct, according to the book, isnt it time to move? |

Re: 2 Hands-What would you do?
With an M of less than five, you can start thinking about moving in with any two (e.g.: 53s). Here, you can make raise, depending on how tight the blinds are, a raise that gives you a chance to fold to a reraise, but, really, folding is the way ahead here.
AJo is far too weak a holding to be calling off your whole stack with an M of 8. Again, this is read dependent, but most players' pushing range here is ahead of AJo. The only reasonable hands you beating are a couple smaller aces and KQ. You are behind any pocket pair and the bigger aces. Note, this does not mean that the raiser can't have other cards but unless you've seen him open pushing weaker cards, then it's wise to fold. |
