there once was a game i played on an Apple II called "Karateka". if you made it all the way and rescued the princess, but then attacked her, she would double you over with a kick in the nutsack. best ending evar.

Damn, I'm surprised you (or anybody) beat this game. Was a fun game, but I'd get to that sky fortress thing or whatever and it got way too hard.

Going old school, Super Mario Bros. 2 ending was pretty cool for the time.

A lot of the old NES games simply said "Congratulations." then just showed all the Japanese programmers like they were famous superstars or something.

i've read that there is a full ending on the japanese version of karnov, but that it was pulled by nintendo from the usa version because of religious theming. i just ran into this english subtitled video of the japanese intro on youtube, so it looks like that's true. i don't think there was an intro on the usa version.
