Default AK hand

Villian (UTG) is 31/12/0.7 after a small sample of 32 hands.

Hero has 195 and Villian covers slightly.

Prima 1/2 5-handed

Preflop: Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Villian raises to 6, 1 fold, Hero raises to 20, 2 folds, Villian calls

Flop: A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (43, 2 players)
Villian checks, Hero bets 25, Villian goes all-in after about 3 seconds of thought, Hero has 150 left and..?

No reads? That's a really dry board. If I haven't seen him get out of line before I fold this pretty quickly most of the time.

First time I was up against him, and no particular read. I dont think I had much of an image from his point of view either.

i mean, there's just no draw. so nothing makes sense, and nobody (in my experience, except for super duper donks that you already know are capable of this) really makes huge allin flop bluffs without at least a strong draw.

seems like AJ or better most of the time.

Its not an easy fold. It would have been an easy fold hadnt there been a 3-bet preflop.

you think the 3bet makes it more likely that villain is getting frisky w/ KK? idk....

i think vs an unknown this is 2 pair + over 75% of the time, and inspite of 3-bet pf here is not getting good enough odds to call the push

I said call in the poll but I changed my mind. I have been played back at a LOT on these A high flops after it was 3bet pf however they usually make some retarded min raise instead of a huge ai like this hand so I think he might have it. You kinda induced a bluff with that small flop bet though but I still think folding is good most of the time.
