dell,samsung or hp 30" monitor?

hi,

i would like to get a 30" monitor.living in austria,my cheapest option would be a hp,whereas the dell and samsung are about 400 $ more expensive(2080 vs 2560).has anyone of you experiences with a hp or samsung of this size.i know that all love the dell but would like opinions on the other two brands as well,esp on the hp model.

I've only used the apple and Dell models. You can't beat the Dells though. Samsung has a good rep as well, so I wouldn't be apposed to one. Just check all the specs and compare them side by side. You may find your answer as to why the Dell is $400 more.
