Rules Question
Hey, this is a secondhand account of what happened, so the details might not be spot on.
My friend Kevin is playing 1/2 NL in Florida. Long story short he put in $150 on a KT2 all hearts board with KQ no heart, the villain says "Sorry but I flopped it" and tables 84hh, Kevin then throws his hand facedown about halfway towards the dealer. The turn burns and turns a T and K to give Kevin the winner. He then grabs his hand, flips it up and says "Sorry, I got lucky" Villain: Screw that, you mucked your hand. The floor gets called... what would your decision be and why? I should also add that this casino has NO posted house rules, therefore most rulings are at the discretion of the floor. |

Re: Rules Question
I hope your friend lost the pot, would serve him right for playing terribly and carrying on when he thinks he's taken a bad beat.

Re: Rules Question
your friend should be awarded the pot if his hand never touched the muck.
