Default 98s Big Pot

Party Poker 0.50/1.00 Hold'em (10 handed) link

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, Hero calls, 1 folds, MP3 raises, CO calls, 2 folds, BB calls, 1 folds, UTG+1 calls, Hero calls.

Flop: (11.50 SB) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (5 players)
BB checks, UTG+1 checks, Hero checks, MP3 bets, CO folds, BB folds, UTG+1 calls, Hero calls.

Turn: (7.25 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
UTG+1 bets, Hero calls, MP3 raises, UTG+1 3-bets, Hero calls, MP3 caps, UTG+1 calls, Hero calls.

River: (19.25 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
UTG+1 bets, Hero raises, MP3 calls, UTG+1 calls.

Final Pot: 25.25 BB.

UTG+1 = Tight/Passive
MP3 = No reads

Just wanna know if I make any mistake, just calling the flop was good?
On the turn I was very sure the UTG+1 had a set, and I suspect the MP3 had one too. But this don't change anything, I had 13 outs for a very good hand on the river

Grunch.

I'd want to c/r this flop for equity reasons, but when it gets back to us w/ only two other players, calling is probably fine.

Turn is fine, River fine.

Looks good as is then.

Calling the flop is fine with only two other players in the pot. However, if there were a few more in the pot (like four others, perhaps), I might also like a check/raise, since our equity is definitely going to be over 20%. We have a nice draw that will come in a lot.

You played it well, and I agree that this is pretty standard.

I play it the same.
But i dont know is raise flop better.
At flop u have nut oest and quite good runner FD so u have about very strong 9 MO. So at flop u have 1.9:1 to win until river so probably raise have marginal +EV.
But u say that u predict someona can just now have set so he has 10 outs to redraw u str8 or Flush so call is better based at u reads.

Only the 7 gives us the nut straight, a queen does not.

This is why I'm not a fan of c/ring this particular flop. If we had an overcard on the flop like Q9 or something I don't think it would be all that bad, but with two unders, I'm not liking it
