Default Scammed by BetonUSA; need help please!!!

I will try and make this as short as possible, as I know long posts are no fun to read. If you are not aware, BetonUSA offers a free weekend 5-team parlay contest for $250. If you hit the parlay, they credit your account with $250. I actually hit it last year in June. I ran my $250 up to $900, but eventually lost it all back. Oh well, it was free money. Little did I know that winning this contest was the worst thing that could ever happen to me.

Fast forward to yesterday, 10 months after the contest win. I have placed no wagers between then and now. I made a deposit yesterday for $400 to put on the Gators, (YES$$$$). After winning the game, I checked my account, and it was $765. Cool, I will withdraw my win, and be done with betting sports until football season. WRONG. I went to withdrawl, and they said I could only withdrawl $210. WTF!!!!! I won the bet, and not only can I not get my winnings, but I can't even get my original bet back? I spent an hour with them on the phone, and they basically said this; When you win a contest, or receive a bonus, you have to wager 20 times the amount in order to withdrawl. That means to withdrawl the $250 win, I would have to wager $5,000. Yeah, sure, that will happen. Just place the whole amount on a game, win, do it 5 more consecutive times, and I can withdrawl. Great.

So, even though this contest was almost a year ago, it didn't go away. Obviously if I would have known this, I would have never deposited another penny in the site. The bottom line is, DONT EVER PLAY THE FREE CONTEST!!! If you win, you will never be able to make a deposit again and get your money.

Anyways, if anyone has any ideas or can offer any help, please let me know. I don't know what to do, but feel like I have been scammed, or cheated. If anyone can help me get my winnings out, I would be happy to give that person a reward of $100.

PLEASE HELP!!

Definitely sucks bozeman, but its hard to say that you've been "scammed". I'm sure these terms were in the original terms of the free contest bet. it definitely pretty [censored] though.

if you deposited through an affiliate originally, contact them. You can also try going to SBR, they're usually really good about helping people.

I'm not active on BetonUSA, do they have a player-to-player transfer feature? If so, you could probably pretty easily find a reputable poster on here to buy out your balance...

First, find out how much you wagered back when you won the contest. If you ran 250 up to 900 and then back down again, you might be at least half way toward the 20x amount wagered. At least find out how close you are.

Cash out your 210 if they will let you.

Find out how long you have to make good on the 20x requirement.

If the timeframe to make good is unlimited or runs into football season, then just leave the rest for football season and then withdraw once you make the rest of the required 20x.

Not much way around the rules.

The player transfer would be something I would be interested in, if it would work; would they let me transfer the whole amount, or just the $210?

As far as the SBR, what is that?

They said I have to wager an additional $4,000 to withdraw my full amount.

I could save the $550 that they won't let me withdrawl until football season, but there is 2 problems. 1. What if by then, the UIGA is in full effect, and the money in online sportsbooks becomes "frozen", like the Neteller debacle. 2. What are the chances of me turning $550 into $4000. I would say about .000001%. Even the best sports bettor would have a hard time doing this.

You don't have to turn 550 into 4000. All you have to do is break even. Lose 2000, win 2000. Withdraw.

I had to do the same thing at betempire.com after they gave me a $150 bonus. except I had to wager only $2700. Their deal was that I couldn't just bet favs, cause they only considered what you won (if it was less than the wager) toward clearing my bonus. Luckily I got real hot and turned that 200 into 2g's and then had wagered nearly $4000 in 2 weeks so I got it all out to my neteller and safely into my bank account yesterday. Thank god for the favs doing their job in the NCAA...plus im killing on NHL so look at my picks today in my thread, im much better at the end of the season when I know who's playing for what and who has the character to win games they have to.
