wow 25000 fpps for a 285 bonus? you have to be a real sucker to buy that considering 25000 fpps are worth 425ish dollars... atleast offer the bonus at a decent price if you're going to offer it.

[/ QUOTE ]

How do you get that they are worth 425 dollars? Seems to me they're worth 285 CASH MONEY.

You cant buy groceries with an ipod.

[/ QUOTE ]

if you play the 5400fpp 1 table turbo sats if you have any skill at all you will easily do better than 285$/25000 fpps.

I would also be interested in hearing this information.

As for the ability to purchase a bonus, I dont think this is a good deal at all. Maybe for Americans since Amazon wont see you gc anymore, but this has absolutely no incentive for anybody to reach Supernova status when we can us the concierge service instead.

You have a great opportunity to get a lot of players if/when Party pulls out, and this announcement doesnt offer any more incentive (I should state that I think stars is a great site with top notch customer service, but I really think that you could do better than offer a bonus that is worth much less than the value of the fpps that it would take to purchase them)....If it was a $500 bonus for 32000 fpps than I think that everybody would think very differently than what youve offered. (Remember that this is still better for you than rakeback) as we still have to clear the bonus on your site.

This is the first time Ive been disappointed in a Poker stars promotional announcement

Ummm...

Fish like cash bonuses that are easy to understand, not % of what this is in terms of RB.

And Stars has lower rake...like INSTANT RB!

I think this is a good thing for the site overall...especially if you are like me and don't like savings FPP's to enter tournaments or sell things on ebay.

No, they took away the Amazon cards(which were the most cash like equivalent), but nothing else changed(yet). They added the ability to buy bonuses but the rate is subpar compared to buying electronics and selling them on ebay or using FPPs to buy into MTTs.

Basically, you can now boost your rakeback to 80% in cash+your VIP level in FPPS for your next $Nworth of play. Up the ladder Supernovas can trade 100K for a $1500 7x bonus, which is a bit better, but for 99K you could get three tickets to the sunday $530.

If you didn't have to clear them they'd be a competitive offer.

Fish like monthly cash bonuses that are easy to understand and clear quickly, they don't care about becoming supernova's, red giants, quasars, etc etc.

Clearing them is a moot point. If you have 100k fpp, clearing 10.5k is not a big deal at all. You still get the FPPs that go towards clearing as well.
