Two Pair vs TAG - Felt It?
Villain is 20/15/2 over a small sample, seems pretty good/solid.
Ultimate Bet No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $0.50./$1. 6 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $76.80 Hero: $133.05 CO: $102.15 Button: $106.50 SB: $99 BB: $66.10 Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is UTG+1 with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] UTG folds, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to $3.5</font>, CO calls, Button calls, 2 folds. <font color="blue"> Respect my raises, damn it! </font> Flop: J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($12, 3 players) <font color="#cc0000">Hero bets $7</font>, CO calls, Button calls. <font color="blue"> Nice flop. I'll bet. (sized it like that to induce a light raise, prolly should have bet 10). The overcall sketches me out a bit.</font> Turn: 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($33, 3 players) <font color="#cc0000">Hero bets $20</font>, CO calls, Button folds. <font color="blue"> Meh, QT just got there, but I want my value. I'm thinking of folding to a raise.</font> River: A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($73, 2 players) Hero checks, <font color="#cc0000">CO is all-in $71.65</font>, Hero ??? <font color="blue"> Is this river a blank? AK/AJ don't make a lot of sense here, QT was already there. Should I block this river? Do I want to get in here? Seems like a flopped set would have raised the flop or turn. No two pairs make sense really. There's no whiffed draw, though, so I don't understand what he'd be bluffing here. </font> |

Re: Two Pair vs TAG - Felt It?
Interesting hand.
I don't see what villian could possibly be bluffing here. There are no draws that missed, and if he was floating flop with air he prob raises or folds the turn. His hand looks a lot like K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]/K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]10 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] that smooth called turn when he picked up the FD. Edit: I also agree that he raises the flop or turn with 555 |

Re: Two Pair vs TAG - Felt It?
Well, he doesn't have K5/AK here most of the time.
I would say he has 55/TQ/AJ/99 a lot. On the turn, he could potentially have TT, but I don't think he bets river with TT. This is a big leak of mine and I would often have a tough time here and lose money, but I think against this type, and if I had time to think about it, I would fold here. |

Re: Two Pair vs TAG - Felt It?
I can't imagine calling this river. No 2 pair hands really make sense and you are ahead of nothing else. Looks like he either slowplayed a set/straight to keep the third player in or picked up the FD on the turn. Either way we are dead.

Looks like Kx of clubs to me.

Re: Two Pair vs TAG - Felt It?
Looks like folks are giving him specifically KcXc here. Does anyone go for a turn checkraise? River block? Just standard as played (besides the smallish bets) and easy river c/f then?

Re: Two Pair vs TAG - Felt It?

but I think c/f is the way to go here. |
