Default Re: Moving from Playdough to Real Dough

So I decided instead of posting this on BBV. I will continue to update my success each month in this thread as an example for future PLOers

This month was an even greater success than last month. I now have a 1,500 bankroll in my FTP account and 600 in my Pokerstars account in just two months time, and I am pretty proud of myself for this milestone success. I have had a LOT of help from everyone on 2+2 - especially the Omaha PLO regulars for all their help and answers to my queries.

I want to specifically thank Elrazor(my PLO coach) and TheDarkcore (my peer reviewer) because they have given me the most help to become a much better PLO player.

See my results below:

I'm really happy for you Janelle. I had a similar month in September, October has been a lot tougher for me. Hopefully I can rebound because I know a lot of my problems this month have come from complacency(So that's my little warning to you).

Also great news, apparently (If Gabe Kaplan isn't lying ) Brandon is on his way to Houston, and he isn't staying at Sammy Farhas' house.

LOL Yeah? hmph I didn't hear this. You need to keep up thisnamedoesnotfi because BA's been replaced.

Brandon's replacement:
<-----------Kimi Matias Räikkönen ((born October 17, 1979 in Espoo, Finland) is a race car driver, currently driving for Scuderia Ferrari. He is the reigning Formula One World Drivers' Champion.

Thanks you guys for the congratulations.

My goals:

1. Try and successfully move up to $100PLO ( I play there partially now )

2. Study at least 1 hour a day ( which is reviewing my previous sessions... looking at my biggest loses and biggest gains )

3. Play in the upcoming FTOP tournies ( If I can qualify )

Those are my major goals for Novemeber... I don't set money goals because that is pointless.

Thanks u guys [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

#2 is king.

If you want to play a big tournament, I suggest mixing in the occasional smaller stake regular MTT as well. PLO plays very differently in a compressed-stack environment.

If only I was smart enough to start off this way. I might not 'fear' poker and myself quite so much. Keep up the good work.

move up and chase your loses. actually no, that's just what I do - definitely not recommended. All you can do is make the right decisions.
