KK Audio makes kickass desks, if you're interested in having really balla desks. Designed for studio use, but I know lots of people who use them for normal everyday stuff.

Jerker and it isn't even close. It is perfection in desk design.

Seriously, the best desks are simple and have tons of space.

The jerker fits this nicely - you can get a version without the shelf on the top too ( I think the top shelf makes it look kind of ugly ). The jerker is from Ikea. You can usually find them on craigslist as well.

The KK audio desk looks almost perfect, but my guess is that it's fairly expensive.

#1 most important thing for a serious computer desk is easy height adjustability. Ikea has several different height adjustable desks for cheap; some nicer stores also have them but they're very price.

#2 most important thing is that the desktop between your knees and hands should be VERY THIN. Most of the so-called "good" desks totally screw this up which makes them completely useless for serious computer users. eg. pretty much all of the big solid hard wood desks have giant thick tops with drawers and junk above your knees which is so retarded and non functional.

BTW is it just me or does that house look like it was designed for munchkins!?

if you can't find one that you like, you could always find a friend/exroommate who is good with wood and stuff to make you one with a lathe

Seriously, is the lathe guy coming with you this time? If not, how were you able to break up with him?

I think we all deserve to know.
