Default Deep, time to fold our flush vs fish?

villain is 50/4/1.5 over 200 hands
I saw him CR/AI earlier with the nuts.
Time to fold this and save some money or get it in and not be a nit?
(I know I bet a bit too small on the turn, but I am working on my betsizing.)

BTN: $118.66
SB: $506.47
BB: $315.54
UTG: $106.26
Hero (CO): $223.68

Pre-Flop: 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (CO)
UTG folds, Hero raises to $4, BTN folds, SB calls $3.50, BB calls $3

Flop: ($12) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 Players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $9, SB calls $9, BB folds

Turn: ($30) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB checks, Hero bets $20, SB calls $20

River: ($70) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB checks, Hero bets $35, SB raises to $179, Hero?

seeing as you bet so weak on the river, like a blocker, when in essence its not a blocker you have to call here.

bet the river like you want value and if he shoves over you you may be able to adjust your read(but probably still call).

as played im calling here

Bad bet on the river then. How much would you bet? 65ish? Is that a bet/fold or bet/call vs this type of villain?
And if I call, what am I hoping to find that I beat, since there are only two possible lower flushes out there.

I'd never fold without this read but now it seems you don't have much choice. Unless he knows that you know that he knows that you're thinking that he knows ...

lol at villain's bet being a bluff here for that amount, its always nice to say stuff like ur hand is under-repped = call, but in reality its clear he has a flush and most likely a very good one given his large raise, id fold.
