And which 3-4 majors has Phil's brain cost him. I know he unforgivably blew a US Open. And I know he's been in contention many times late at Augusta and faded at least in part due to poor (in my opinion) choices -- but please put some flesh on the 2-3 other majors that he's blown claim. I don't think it means much if it were true, or even the true risk/reward calculations in those instances where I think he chose badly-- but if you want to keep trotting it out I'd like to know how one at least considers it to be true.

[/ QUOTE ]

You're right. He had absolutely zero chances to win any majors prior to 2004 at 34 years old despite being basically top 5 in the world for a decade.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm right about what? I think he had several chances to win majors. I think I asked you to tell me which ones he blew-- I didn't say he didn't blow any. I do see some daylight between "blowing a tournament" and "not winning a tournament in which you are in contention with a chance to win", but I don't see how that stops you from telling me which tournaments you think he blew.

I didn't know you posted on these boards. I find your handle very appropriate.

And how exactly did Tiger cheat in either of these situations?

1.) Simply retarded to post, has nothing to do with Tiger. If Els hit it over the next day, the same rule would apply. Tiger made a perfectly legal drop where he was told to.

2.) Whether or not the rules official made a mistake, that would have nothing to due with Tiger blatantly trying to gain an advantage unfairly. Tiger made perfectly legal drop where he was told to drop.

Monty Incident,

He placed his own ball closer to the hole after a weather delay to improve his stance near a bunker, which is illegal. It was so obvious it was actually quite hilarious that he had the balls to try it.

So you're saying that Tiger demanding a drop from the roof of a clubhouse, where anyone else would just accept they were clearly OOB is not at the very least stretching gamesmanship to the brink?

1, Tiger did not DEMAND a drop.

2, Even if he did, the rules official(s) have the final say ala Trey Holland in the 1994 U.S. Open. If a mistake was made, it was by the rules official, not Tiger.

Monty's incident, whoever's side you take, was done without a rules official involved. Therefore he is the only one to blame.
