Default Stupid prop bet - ramen noodles

was discussing this yesterday - friend of mine wants me to bet him on how many packages of ramen noodles he can eat in an hour. He has to keep them down. We're having trouble agreeing on the line -- he says the over/under should be 5 packages, I say 8 (he's taking the over obv, and the O/U line is to encourage side action among other idiots we know).

He's 6'2, polly 200 lb, no competitive eating experience.

What say you BBV4LIFE ship it crucial?

No idea what his tolerance for MSG is, either.

Is it just the noodles without preparation or does he have to eat the packet of spices too?

The sheer quantity of liquid he's going to have to drink to offset the salt will be his downfall.

I saw 5 or 6 before he starts to upchuck.

Are noodles prepared for him right after he finishes one packet? If there is liquid left over does he have to drink it?

OP,

I actually made this exact same bet with a guy that I know who is about 6ft 190 maybe? (so about the same proportions) The key thing is the water. If you cook as on the instructions and add all the water that the instructions tell you to add, he doesnt stand a chance at 8 packs. My bet was 6 packs with all the seasoning but half the water in an hour and this kid managed to finish it in a minute or two less than an hour but felt incredibly sick for the next 24 hours or so.
