Default Durian?

Somehow. Personally, don't know, but an edible fruit has the following description....

"Like eating vanilla custard in a latrine.
It's odor, is best described as pig-[censored], turpentine, and onions, garnished with a gym sock."

Just wanna know what the lord was thinkin' when he (or it) came up with the Durian? And also, how folks came up with the idea of eating it?

smells a bit like cheese, does not taste like vanilla at all. when too old the smell can be devastating.
