I think a possible reason for potripper playing like a retard while the other cheating accounts played smarter is that they were different people in the same circle of friends. the person playing the tournament was cheating for the first time and ruined it for all of them.

hey guys, The Watchdog is posting on Casinomeister Right Now

[/ QUOTE ]

It's insightful stuff. (EDIT: Linky here.)

Anyways, I really think its quite bad what is happening with Absolute... on the other hand I really dislike tons of forum posters pretending to know about Poker security and everyone goes around analyzing hands and figures they don't even get.

Something funny is going on with these guys, don't know what though... It could be a group of professional scammers, and inside job, world war III, what ever... ONE THING IS FOR SURE... the idea of a super account is just the most paranoid and stupid idea I have ever herd. . . .

In the immortal words of the online gaming apologists "they would never do that, they have too much to lose!" O'rly? So umm....maybe they would and this is just an insight into sloppy handiwork?

But their cheating had become blatantly obvious in the cash games as well, by this time.

Another question: if these were the site's owners, why would they have to chipdump to other accounts before withdrawing?

but wouldn't the person relaying the hands to him object to making it so obvious? (I am correct in assuming one person relayed the hands while the other played?)

Both thewatchdog and pokermachine make little comments like "something is wrong" or "turbos are too fast" (some some 2p2 thread where he promotes AP turbo sngs) to strengthen their main argument by seeming objective. Plus his whole writing style is very similar. I'm pretty sure http://www.casinomeister.com/forums/...-issue-28.html is thepokermachine from 2p2.

Can we go back to what role Mark Seif has in this?

With this new information I question whether or not Seif is involved at all.

[/ QUOTE ]

All that seems to have been posted so far was:

[ QUOTE ]
Mark introduced me to Scott at the Five Diamonds in 05. Scott told me how him and three of his frat buddies started AP. If I remember right Scott was selling out back then. I didnt see him at any of the WSOP 06 functions.

[/ QUOTE ]
Doesn't say much but I know when I read that I assumed its definitely possible that Mark was friends with Scott Tom and the incident that happened a while back where Seif said he'd be right back punk or whatever.. he was making a phone call to Scott Tom to have him come sweat his table telling him the cards his opponent had over the phone.

He probably wasn't granted complete access to the account for whatever reason but called Scott Tom up begging for help just that once since he was getting owned. And if Scott Tom is some cocky fraternity guy then I could envision how this went down and the complete lack of morals.

On a side note, i'm still not really understanding why exactly Scott Tom would be interested in cheating some players on his site out of a few hundred thousand dollars if he's the owner/CEO of the site. That doesn't make any sense if they have the money to buy Ultimate bet with $10 million. Just seems like the amount of money involved here is worth far more than a few hundred thousand. Just doesn't seem like a sensible enough motive.

I think this pretty much shows that when that dude claimed mark seif could see his hole cards he wasn't lying and that has been my gut feeling all along. Seif is apparently Scott Tom's boy.
