Yeah they really are a big tool. Not one single word on the Absolute Poker scandal, in fact I even saw more AB promos the week it stormed on this forum. Even a NYT editorial had a story on AB. Poker magazines only show when a player does something wrong not the Site if your lucky. Bluuf magazine is a tool also but it is a lot better to read I think.

It was the standard before the boom and because of that, has gotten a pass for a few years. It used to be distributed for free in the card rooms only. Since adding paying subscribers, I think they have to dumb it down to appease the market of the player who is subscribing instead of picking it up at the card room.

Yeah because Hawaiian Gardens is like a Mensa meeting!

Complete tool?

Yeah, Cardplayer is like a swedish army knife. Looks great but isn't good for much and ends up sitting in your desk drawer taking up space.

It's not like CardPlayer exists as an important journalistic entity... it is JUST like the NY Times.

It exists to make money. Plain and simple.

As swedes are not as aggressive IRL as in poker i think they use army knives to cut cake rather then killing people.
