I guess I partly agreed with her at the time on the 'appropriateness' of the horse-sex thread on 2+2.

But the whole argument about ElD's cell-phone and how/when to answer it was just over-the-top weird.
As the discussion developed she seemed to believe some comments were personal insults to her that clearly were just normal, everyday comments.

I think she was taking a lot of heat for her views from a lot of different posters by that time and that was skewing her perception of the intent of some of the other non-attack comments in that thread which she incorrectly viewed as attacks.

The person who is really screwed here is Ed.

Anyone who has had a somewhat crazy person in the family knows how little you can do when that person goes off in public. You can't tell them to stop because they will turn on you for your lack of support and not seeing things their way. For the sake of domestic tranquility, you just have to grin and bear it. Ed can't tell us how he feels about all this because it will obviously get back to the crazy person.

Perhaps we should just allow Ed to endure his burden in private, we don't need to revisit every past controversy that the craxy person was involved in.
