I always find people who put Lloyd Carr on the hotseat to be clueless. Assuming the point is suggesting there is a reasonable probability they will be fired (and not should be), it's pretty worthless. Carr isn't going to get fired; for all his maddening traits his overall record is pretty good. Hell, if we win this weekend it's 4 RB's in 5 years. I know we want (and should have) more teams in title contention, but at the same time it's hard to argue the program is falling apart or about to if that's what we wind up with. In any event, Bill Martin isn't firing him unless things got real ugly, so it's dumb to put him there.

Anyway, he's retiring so it's even stupider.

your f'ing clueless and unrealistic...

if you can't fire up and prepare Hart, Henne, and the rest of your team (in front of 90k fans ready to kickoff college football season) to open with a win at the Big House vs a DI-AA opponent you need to step aside or be fired

it's 2007, there is no loyalty to coaches anynmore...you win games or you move over and bring in somebody else

like he said previously, you have no clue how the Michigan AD operates. The following scenarios end up with him leaving the Michigan coaching job before next season.

1) he retires

2) he gets arrested for murder, rape, soliciting prostitution, bigamy etc...

3) he gets involved in some sort of Michael Richards or Mel Gibbs esque tirade.

4) he dies.
