how about preflop? Shouldn't we raise here a little more OOP vs one limper?

would be a much easier call if your betsizes were better

if you bet 5/6 pot on flop, then 12/15 on turn it is no longer a decision

as played, i call because of the odds

also; preflop is fine. i usually only make it 5x, so saying we should raise more is going a bit too far

Yea I agree I should have bet bigger on the flop, Im playing scared and badly right now. As far as pf, I agree with my bet is definitely enough.

Short stack + good odds = snap call.

In my experience short stacks just love to gamble. Especially the ones who buy in for a weird amount and probably are with their entire bankroll at the table.

I feel like QQ and JJ are raising from the button, or at least limp-raising, no? My best guess is QJ, J9, Q9, or QT, JT, but two pair seems more likely. Maybe 50% two pair, 40% pair + oesd, 10% random cards we beat? Anybody care to comment on that range?

[/ QUOTE ]

Against a full stack I would smaller the pair + oesd part, but against a shorstack it prolly is a good assumption. But I think I'm stil giving him a tad more Two pairs than pair+oesd (solely based on Baluga, but I'm falling for this anyways, so I might not be correct).

[/ QUOTE ]

Baluga Theorem isn't as accurate against shorties because they will frequently shove turn with hands they would just call with sitting on deeper stacks.

I like jamming it more against short stacks with these hands so I avoid these weird turn/river spots. I know I'm gonna feel committed and call them anyway, so I try to get enough money in to avoid the second-guessing on later streets.
