Giga the hustler???

There seemed to be a little interest on the topic in the monster thread here and I've always wondered what happened to giga. It sounded like some people might have some good info and El D posted this:

I've read and heard bits and pieces but have never really gotten anywhere near the full story as to what happened with Gigabet. I've searched before and haven't been able to dig up much. Why did he disappear from 2+2? Who did he hustle, con, lie to, etc? What's the scoop?
