Yes I prefer a flop raise, not that it makes much difference. River is OK too. This is a blind war, so you are not folding to the 3-bet. I just these kind of hands define variance.

This guy is agro enough and has a wide enough calling range that if you won this you gave up some bets. Raise the turn, raise the river. If that J wasn't out there I'd cap the river.

I might raise the turn here against a guy this aggressive knowing I'm calling down a 3-bet. I think the way you played it is fine as well. He could easily have AK, KJ or QJ here.

this guy is aggressive and is unlikely to fold any board hit ... let him have on the flop

IMO the only reason to wait and raise the river is for variety against a someone you play all the time (and you could easily be going to showdown with a hand they might want to value bet the river)

against this guy on the board there is plenty to play back with and plenty to call with ... jack that [censored] UP man!!

He's play 45% of his hands and you don't have any reads? You don't know what he's shown down or anything?

You've got to stick a raise in somewhere, and based on the 2 AF, I think you have your choice of streets. I would do it on the turn to maximize value if he slows down (calling down if 3-bet).

This guy looks a bit semi-maniacal with those stats, so I might cap PF. I like fastplaying the flop, esp if he's known to overplay his overcards/pairs/etc. If he's known to slowdown (to any flop aggression) then maybe a turn raise is better.

Flop: A raise is tempting but I feel good about having the best hand so I call with intention to raise the turn and trap this fish.

Turn: Fire away until told differently, just don't four bet it.

River: I like as played.

You're way ahead or way behind. I think you played this weak but not terrible.

I don't cap preflop because KQ is behind Ax and I'm not sure if I like K-high enough to try to squeeze value preflop.

Against someone that could be over-defending his blind or re-stealing, we're prolly ahead enough here. That said I mentioned I 'might' cap PF, I'd like to know how he plays a bit more before deciding whether I will cap.
