UTG's bet sizing is odd - he might be setting some weird kind of trap. On the turn, I think a flat call is best. Hand is too good to fold, but not quite good enough to push, IMO.

i'm just saying, since your bet sizing was awkward, if you call that 1/3 pot turn bet, the pots now 50 and you have 35 or so left so you should have set yourself up for a shove on the turn-- i think thats the biggest problem IMO b/c doubtful he calls a shove on the turn now with most hands you beat and you've given him a chance to outdraw you on the river

meh, I see donkey's take this line with top pair/some sort of kicker all the time

If either one of you were short, I'd push this all day, which would have been even more easy if hero had raised more pre flop, but we've already established that

as played, with these stacks, I'm calling his turn bet and reevaluate river

fwiw: if villain bets smallish on a safe river card I would seriously consider min raising for value

this looks like a blocking bet from villian.

Others can correct me if they think im wrong but after your flop raise most players would be looking to c/r all in on the turn if they had a monster.

So unless this is some sort of weird trap I think your ahead here I put him on AJ KJ or 9T.

id call turn for pot control and call reasonable bet on non str8 rivercard or bet for value if checked to.

Any reads?

i mean the pots 50 and you have 35 by the river-- i think hes running out of time to call a turn bet and reevaluate river on a hand he is most likely ahead of
