I mean, if you're playing 7 card stud are you going to rotate the opener around the table clockwise so every gets their chance? NO! because that's how its done in Hold'em, but you'd never play 7CS that way, even though they're both played with cards and tables and chips.

Well, mini-golf and golf are both played with sticks and balls and holes, but that doesn't mean you use golf rules on a putt-putt course.

Yes obv because golf uses the farthest from the hole rule you cannot possibly even consider using it in mini-golf. They are different! You don't even use a putter in mini-golf you use a pool cue.
