Re: 2007 World Series of Poker TV Schedule Released
I'm a bit confused.. on the dates when they have two events scheduled for the same time- is it ESPN's decision as to which of the two events they will ultimately air? Will we be able to watch both eventually, or just the event that ESPN decides to televise initially?

Re: 2007 World Series of Poker TV Schedule Released
I think they're going to pick which final table has the bigger stars and then broadcast that one and put the other on on something like espn360.com ?

[/ QUOTE ] Maybe, but I figured it would be like previous years where they had 2 final tables going at the same time and cut back and forth - the Chan vs. Laak FT against another one (can't remember) comes to mind. |

Re: 2007 World Series of Poker TV Schedule Released
I understand that Harrah's has turned the $5000 PLO event into a 3-day event so that both the $1500 PLHE and the $5000 PLO events will be videotaped ($1500 PLHE on June 5, $5000 PLO on June 6).
I am assuming that the $5000 Mixed L/NLHE event (Steve "MrSmokey1" Billirakis) will be shortened to 1 hour in order to make room for the $5000 PLO. As for the choice between $5000 Heads-Up and $1500 PLO, I understand that $5000 Heads-Up is the one that is being penciled in for the June 21 TV taping. That of course could change in an instant if the ESPN producers believe that the $1500 PLO final table has greater "star power" than the Heads-Up match. |
