The question on leveling wasn't about the pale lipstick, but about the suggestion that that kid is "def. hot."

Some possibly paraphrased dialog from possibly my new favorite show, Iconoclasts, on the Sundance channel:

Dean Kamen (inventor of the Segway): "I got one of your other movies yesterday. It was very disturbing to watch."

Isabella Rosselini: "Ah Blue Velvet."

Kamen: "Blue Velvet yes, very disturbing. Wow..."

(... some discussion of the movie ...)

Kamen: "It was worse than violence, it was disturbing violence... Is that a famous movie?"

This tickled me for some reason.

Hello all,

Been very busy with work lately and was playing blackjack in Vegas all this weekend.

Way too much crap and crud on the forum.

Thanks to everyone taking the time to contribute tons of good threads and posts.

We'll get a little more focused on clamping down on the garbage.

The wife and I are in Vegas the 3rd, 4th & 5th to take advantage of a rare break in her schedule...

Now is your chance to get a free drink or take a swing at me.

I own about 5 guitars, including a rickenbacker, but after listening to some of my favorite musicians, I'm thinking of buying a 12-string acoustinc -

best recommendations I've seen for mid-price are the Guild GAD212 although there's always a Taylor nut around willing to drop 2K on another one - (already got a Taylor 6 string)

Guild 12-strings are dual trussed-rod and can be tuned up to standard tuning - otherwise you're risking ripping the top off it or else having to downtune it.

This will by my hopefully last purchase before I crack down and finish that album I've been working on - recorded 4 drum tracks with a friend on Tuesday, but I'm waffling on it - now that I'm no longer in a band and not getting out with them much, I'm thinking of doing this album solo and just trying to book some coffeeshop shows - back to the roots.

Is it possible to have hangover from too much PF Chang's food? I think I'm in sodium or MSG shock or something.

PF Chang's does that to me also. It's pseudo-food, and uses way too much garlic. I find the garlic affects me adversely.
